Gun Safe from Kids and Works great after a year

Before buying the HOLEWOR Gun Safe, Biometric Safes for Pistols with LCD Display, Fingerprint Q I did a lot of search.... read reviews and compared other products. I finally decided to buy this one, most of the reviews were positive but there were some that complained about sometimes fingerprint not reading and not opening.Sometimes reviews can be confusing as the feedback is mostly given within few days to few weeks, feedback focus on shipping, delivery, customer service these are all great, what about quality durability, can the product last? so my review will include how the product is functioning after a year.I agree with the reviews this product is great, good quality, looks and feels great, love the blue light.I do not have any issue with using fingerprint to open it, I did experience few times where it did not open but is mainly when you do not place your finger properly, either too fast or your finger is in an angle where it did not read. I place finger properly and opens immediately.I have been using this gun safe box to store my Sig Sauer 9mm, fits perfect, never fails to open, works great.Overall, I am very happy with this product and I do recommend if anyone is skeptical. Helps me feel comfortable gun is in safe place from my kids.

Good enough for what I bought it for

Just received safe. Will serve the function I bought it for - keeping kids and honest thieves from getting their grubby paws on my gun. However, I'm pretty sure a determined miscreant will be able to take a prybar to the lid and get it open. The fingerprint reader on this unit doesn't work - it'll take the fingerprint but then doesn't respond when I try to use the option, the unit won't turn on and accept the print. Not worth sending unit back though as the key and pass code do work. Cable also good enough to keep kids/honest thieves at bay but a determined rascal will defeat it as well. Better option than a dresser drawer but not foolproof for a determined scallywag.Update - seller has offered to send a replacement safe without my asking for such, pleasant surprise. Will update when replacement arrives.
