I recently purchased the VIZIO SmartCast Universal Remote Control as a replacement for my old remote, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. This remote is incredibly user-friendly and works seamlessly with all VIZIO TVs. The setup process was straightforward, and it connected to my TV in no time. One of the standout features is its intuitive design, which makes navigating through apps and settings a breeze. The buttons are well-placed and responsive, providing a satisfying tactile experience. Additionally, the remote's sleek and modern look complements my living room setup perfectly. The SmartCast functionality is a game-changer, allowing me to easily access streaming services and control smart home devices directly from the remote. It's like having a universal hub in the palm of my hand. Overall, the VIZIO SmartCast Universal Remote Control has exceeded my expectations, making TV viewing more enjoyable and convenient. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their VIZIO TV experience!

Needed a hole in it to work properly.

Had to drill a hole in it for it to work better. My couch is roughly 13-15 feet away from my TV. This remote has a rather dark window across its IR blaster. I would have to move the remote four feet closer in order for it to mostly receive commands from this remote. I saw one customer break off the window/tip of the remote to get it working better and decided I would hit it with a drill instead. Now I can control my TV from 30+ feet away! When comparing the original remote with this one, using my cellphone camera to view the IR blaster. The new one was significantly dimmer until I drilled the hole. I initially thought it was middle slightly high based on my camera but after drilling the initial hole I could better see it was lower and closer to the power button. Drilled a second hole and covered it with scotch tape and trimmed the edges of the tape off. Works great now!
