These are acceptable for wearing around the house. I usually buy size 13, and I bought size 13 and they are a little loose. But this may be partly due to the very stretchy lightweight uppers. You certainly couldn't use these for any kind of outdoor activity -- not even walking. I bought them basically as around the house slippers, and have put orthotic insoles into them. I plan to buy some more serious stretch laces for these. The ones they come with basically do nothing -- just cosmetic. They're definitely easy to slip on and as a result your heel tends to slip up as you walk around. The arch support is almost non-existent. The only reason I was willing to buy these by Internet was I didn't expect a lot, and they were pretty inexpensive.
