Surprisingly great!

I won’t lie, I wasn’t sure about this purchase. I actually bought this because I have a wide open space and I want to hang a grow light from it to place a plant under it without having to drill into the ceiling. I was not expecting it to be as sturdy as it is. Also the light that comes with it is very bright, much brighter than the tripod light I have, yet about half the wattage. Mine came with the clips that some reviews say are missing. It took about 10 minutes to set up and I was good to go. I may still hang a ViparSpectra from it and use the light that comes with it as side lighting, but I am very happy with it and definitely recommend!

The stand works fine. However, the light itself died within 3 weeks. So no sun for my plants

Putting the stand together wasn't too difficult. The little clips that hold the LED light to the stand were not very strong and kept falling apart. They had to be together with no movement in order to hold the very light weight lamp. The lamp itself died after 3 weeks use.
