Recieved with no rust well oiled and of good quality. I bought mainly for the rope but I use the bar as an upgrade for my wrist rope twist device for forearm development.

Questionable.
By Ed Y. on Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2023
I agree with the reviewers that gave this product one star. I had to return this product because of the inferior screws that striped out for no reason. The plywood also cracked, which means it's not glued properly or not treated to prevent this from happening. This it the same for the 6" and the 8" boxes. My solution was to pre-drill the holes myself. Even then, one piece STILL CRACKED!!! All they give you is a tiny allen wrench to install the 32 screws. I purchased a 3mm hex bit and used my drill. Much faster than doing it by hand. The old adage, " you get what you pay for" applies for this product. However, The 16" box was totally fine. They pieces had pre-drilled holes and wood did not crack....5-STARS! You got to ask yourself one question: WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS COMPANY? DIDN"T THEY TEST THIS BEFORE SELLING TO THEIR CUSTOMERS???

I purchased this box for my home gym. It was relatively inexpensive and sized perfectly for my use. The material is very cheap and partially coated with some kind of thick paint. The pieces are covered in sawdust and the paint is chipped and flaking off. The screws require a hex key or Allen wrench. This piece is included, but impossible to use because there are no pilot holes. Worse, the absence of pilot holes means the screws split the plywood when driven in. This is a very poorly thought out product. I did use it this morning and it did work, but it will end up in the trash much sooner than anyone could hope.

poor quality issues prevent me from recommending these.

I cannot in good conscience recommend these. I purchased the 4" and 16" boxes and ran into issues that I read in other reviews. Wood splitting when assembling, stripped screw heads and misaligned pilot holes. If you are still planning to buy any of these, I also recommend buying some better quality wood screws and be ready to deal with misaligned pilot holes. As for wood splitting, I just tried stuffing in wood glue in the splits and clamping it together while it dried. Don't know if that will provide a long term solution so we'll see. If there were no quality issues, these are great since they provide a larger base than others and you can vary heights based on your jumping exercise since they are stackable.
Decent Box for the price. Absolutely terrible screws supplied...use your own

Plywood box with grip tape type layer on the outside. Decent boxes that do the job for the price. The supplied screws for assembly are terrible...they strip out easily. After the first two supplied screws failed I decided to use my own and all is good.
Cheap Crappy Wood

Waste of money. Crappy fake wood that split when using the included screws to connect the pieces together. Didn't even fully install the product before I returned.
Just OK

The wooden box is of sufficient quality for the price point but has sharp and rough edges which means you wont want to use this without shoes. The decorative decal coverings are very poor quality and came out of the box looking discolored, scraped, and scratched, with attempted black marker coverups. The "non slip" surface is thin and not very non slippery. It does seem like it will hold up with much use. The condition isn't bad enough to make an official complaint but I was expecting better quality. Then again it was just fifty bucks.
Not well constructed

not well constructed. I've purchased other wooden exercise boxes that come with predrilled screw holes and good quality screws. Only one side of the board are predrilled and the screws are really cheaply made I need a 4 inch high box and didn't have many choices. The wood splits and chips when inserting screws. recommend another brand
Ok product

I have bought other boxes from this manufacturer. With the 4 inch box, the wood did quite a bit of splitting. I wish they would have that start of the drill holes and I wish they would use either a flat head or Phillips screwdriver versus Allen wrench.
