Amazon is providing free return on this item. Considering this, I would rate 4 star for my overall experience as overall I did not lose too much (2 days time and a good summer exercise trying to inflate this defect item) 1 star for the item itself excluding Amazon's great 2 day free shipping and free return service. 1. Item is defective. As shown in my photo there is a visible hole in it due to bad heat-sealing work. I got the item today and started to inflate it. The item is defective with a visible hole as shown in the attached photos. The item is not shipped with an amazon box but in its original paper box packaging. The box is OK and not sever deformed in general but has 3 small puncture holes and some dirt on it. This is not the reason for the defective as in my photo the hole is either due to bad heat-sealing work, or the item is not new and used, with high pressure caused such a hole (this is less likely as the item overall looks clean with no visible scratches or wear, and smells chemical fume as a new plastic item should smell) 2. It is hard to inflate. It is a quite a good exercise for me to inflate it with a non-electronic tool. The plastic straw provided as "inflation tool kit" is hard plastic, hard to be air tight when connecting to an external air pump tool. When I came to this country some decades ago I learnt that when I found myself struggling with the packaging and having a very hard time opening some product, I MUST be doing it WRONG. I should slow down, read instructions on the package and the correct way is always smooth and easy. A few years latter I learnt that this rule is only true for products that is made in this country or at least designed in this great country. Today I got this inflatable pool for my daughter's birthday summer pool party. Without an electronic tool I had a great exercise trying to inflate it with a bike air pump and then a large baloon inflater. My hands are sour and my chest pumping with sweat. I read the package again and it says it comes with 3 things: the pool, the repair kit (a piece of sticky rubber if you call it a kit) and the inflation kit (a 2 inch long hard plastic straw if you call it a kit).
