5-Star Style and Function
By PLV on Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2022
We needed a TV to go above our fireplace in the living room. The Frame TV offered the best of style and functionality. The QLED TV with matte finish (2022 model) has a superb image with minimized glare. Mounting was easy if you’re handy using the mounting hardware provided. The paper template helped determine the proper location for the mounting screws. We purchased a white metal frame that attached perfectly to the TV and covered the black bezel. With the great selection of free art images the TV looked like a painting on the wall. The back of the tv was about 3mm from wall surface. Also, we purchased the Amazon Renewed version (someone returned it initially) and encountered no problems with quality. I think there was a small scratch in the back of the TV. The front had no problems - no dead pixels or smudges on the matte surface. Caution: never touch the front surface or you run the possibility of smudging the matte finish. I read elsewhere that you can only use a “magic eraser” product to clean the screen.

Did not work as advertised
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on October 4, 2022
Picture is good, motion judder is noticable, but the problems are with art mode. After multiple calls with Samsung customer support, they sent a technician to diagnose all the glitches. I was basically told that this TV can't do what is advertised to do, except in very specific applications. Examples, 1) night mode (intended to turn the art off at night) turns the art off randomly throughout the day. I was told this is a known problem with no current solution. 2) the auto-brightness randomly changes to extremes. I was told that this occurs because there are too many windows in my room and because the TV is mounted above a mantel which impacts the ambient light sensors. 3) You need multiple remotes in hand to turn on and operate your TV. I was told that this TV was not designed to work with universal or service provider remotes. 4) the inputs randomly change while watching, menus randomly appear, and the TV randomly switches to split screen view. I was told the OneConnect cable that's provided with the TV is not able to be routed through an existing wall conduit, and will cause glitches unless it's mounted outside of the wall, hanging out from the TV. I was offered a wall-rated cable for an additional $300. Every one of these issues alone renders the TV useless for art; and art is the only reason a person would consider this TV over a cheaper non-art LED TV. Collectively, these problems, and Samsung's dismissive response to them, highlight a poorly designed, poorly supported product that isn't ready for mainstream use. Save your money... unless maybe if you own an art studio.
