EAST OAK 44'' Propane Fire Pit Table (Open Box)

This was love at first sight. I mean from the unboxing on, I was impressed. The ease of putting together was very simple with just some screws, a 15 minute job. The ignition and heat produced are fantastic and it's just beautiful with high end materials. If I could rate this one six stars I would.

First impression- I love this. I got the 52 inch- I wanted the larger 57 but for some reason it says it doesn’t ship to my address. I would like to purchase the 57 inch as well because I’m going to create two separate sitting areas on my patio. This was very simple to assemble my 17 year-old son put it together for me. The brown rocks that came with. It are OK however, being that the table is brown, I felt like adding some blue would add some more character so I did brown down the center and then blue surrounding it. I purchased the glass wind guard and the protective cover separately. They both appear to be great qualities just like the table. I’ve only tried it out once however I am excited to use it during the summer. It definitely creates a relaxing atmosphere- you can change the intensity of the flame — and the flames look amazing 🤩 🔥

I purchased this table at the beginning of summer with full expectation to have many pleasant evenings on my deck. Upon arrival, the table was quite easy to set up and looked amazing. If there's one thing to be said, this table has that premium look and feel to it. Anyway, it comes time to finally ignite the burners for the first time and.....nothing. The switch releases the propane gas, clicks the spark plug, but no spark, no ignition, no flames. To circumvent this, I would light the table using a lighter with an extended neck. Not optimal, but hey, I really wanted to see what this table was like. That worked well, but I also noticed that the flames on the burner were uneven. Specifically, it seemed like the flames on the left side of the burner were notably larger than those on the right side. After some troubleshooting with no resolution to either issue, it was time to contact customer support. Several helpful emails later, the problem had been identified and a replacement part was expeditiously sent to me. I assembled the replacement last night, activated the ignition switch, and voilà, the burner ignited perfectly! Even better, the flame balance is far more appropriate. So all in all, the table itself is excellent, the heat output from the flames is nice and cozy, and the customer service is nothing but wonderfully helpful. With Fall now arriving, I anticipate many nice evenings sitting around this table.

**EDIT - UPDATE** Customer Service emailed promptly after I posted the original review. You will not believe this, but they shipped us a brand new fire pit table and only asked that I adjust my review. Actually having a company CARE about their customers and reviews these days has become rare. The new product works like a dream. I would not hesitate to buy from this company. Five Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It’s beautiful but every single time we use it, the flame goes out. Let me assure you this is NOT due to operator error. My husband is a pro. It is a faulty regulator.

Started off with high hopes. Fire pit table had good reviews. Paying more but I already have a less expensive fire pit table that doesn’t work. Then I started the assembly process and got stuck at step 3. They provided two F panels instead of an F and a J. The panel is labeled J but is clearly an F so the tank holder won’t mount. Sent information to East Oak and was told to order a replacement unit since the part is not available. Update: The replacement arrived in a few days, had all the right parts and assembled quickly! The glass guard is a little challenging to assemble. 8 brackets and four pieces of glass all have to be aligned and tightened. I’d recommend placing on a flat surface like a countertop and assembling there. East Oak provided a partial refund for my inconvenience so that was appreciated! The completed fire table looks very nice! Seems like it will throw a lot of heat but haven’t used much yet.

Beautifully made of top materials. The glass windguard adds so much to the beauty. East Oak has exemplary customer service. They are beyond fair when addressing and problems or replacements. Highly recommend. We added casters so I can wheel it around to various locations on my lanai and pool deck. I’m beyond five star rating! Customer service is amazing. I had an issue with the Ignighter. They sent me an entire fire pit! They follow up with emails making sure I am totally satisfied.

Everything arrived intact. We had another table without the fire pit, so I’m glad we can still use this to eat outside . The only issue was the wind guard. I was told it was coming in a separate box only to find out that it’s not included. I totally recommend getting it so I have to spend more money for it. Hopefully, the price is worth this. Because of all the crappy weather in New York, I haven’t really been able to enjoy it that much. I also ordered Some blue rocks to put in however, it does come with topaz colored ones. Assembly was very easy took about 20 minutes Excellent customer service and I would definitely shop here again

Such a beauty. Absolutely perfect for our outdoor pergola. Came well packaged and was easy to assemble. Would highly recommend to elevate your backyard ambiance. Color of wicker is as pictured, medium brown. 

East Oak is a wonderful company. They were very supportive and helpful in resolving our problem. They very courteous and prompt.

We purchased the EAST OAK 44'' Propane Fire Pit Table, 60,000 BTU Gas Fire Table w/Aluminum Frame, H Type Burner and Tempered Glass Tabletop, CSA Listed Outdoor Patio Firepit with Wind Guard, Fire Glass and Lid, Grey, last year (December 2022). A few weeks ago (October 2023, just 10 months of use) the burner assembly developed a slight malfunction as the Fire Pit propane assembly would not sustain a steady flame. I contacted the "East Oak Living" Customer Service Department and was pleasantly surprised to actually talk to a real person and not an automated computer AI voice. After explaining the defect, it was agreed upon that East Oak Living would send a replacement burner assembly to me at no cost. Again I was pleasantly surprised that East Oak not only send me a new burner assembly, East Oak had sent me a whole new Fire Pit Table! I was shocked! A brand new full kit! I couldn't believe it! I contacted them to enquire if this was a mistake and was informed that because the burner assembly was on back order, East Oak decided to just replace to entire unit! I doesn't end here...not only did they send an entire new Fire Pit Table, they informed me that once the back ordered burner assembly arrives to the warehouse, they are still sending me a replacement for the original Fire Pit Table! Based upon this experience, I truly believe that East Oak Living is a stellar company! Not only did they stay in constant contact with me via telephone and E-mail during this entire process, they went above and beyond to rectify this situation! I would highly recommend East Oak Living to everyone and I will definitely be purchasing more products from this company in the future!
