I Like This Chair (Edit)

I really liked this chair out of the box. I'm 6' 2" and 275 lbs. The wider arm rests fit my frame fairly well, and the fact that I could fold them upward and tuck the chair under my desk was incredibly helpful. The seat is firm, which I like. The mesh back upper keeps my back cool, which I very much enjoy. But on the third day, the base snapped. If you're a bigger person, maybe seek something with a sturdier base. Edit: The seller of this chair contacted me as soon as I left my review of the broken base a sent me a metal replacement within about a week's time that matches the color of the white/gray version. The chair is sturdier than ever and the customer service experience has been great. They even threw in a matching gas cylinder for good measure. Overall, great communication.

Chair broke after just over a month.

Ordered the chair and it was pretty simple to put together. However, as this chair is made from pretty flimsy plastic, one of the legs broke in just over a month of daily use. I noticed that it had cracked one day. Within another day, the leg had broken off entirely. I weigh significantly less than the 300 lbs the chair is claimed to be rated for. One answer from the manufacturer on Amazon said the chair is rated for 500 lbs. It is possible that this is true as far as placing a 500 lb weight one time. I cannot imagine that this would possible hold a 300 lb person for any regular usage if it failed for me after about a month.
