Actually works! Saves me from pain and bruising

The only thing that works for the burning welts I get from mosquito bites! My reaction to mosquitoes is so bad, a friend actually bought this for me before we went on a trip so I would be less irritable if I got bitten. You read that right - not only does my skin get super irritated immediately upon being bitten, but I get extremely irritable if I have more than 3 bites, which tends to happen quickly when I’m outside with no protection. Mosquitoes LOVE my blood. They are the bane of my existence and the reason I miss out on outdoor summer fun. Having this device has made life so much less bad in the South in summertime. I often have to treat the same spot 2-3 times to get the swelling to go down, but once I zap the bite, the welt starts to ease and the itching and burning stops. What use to be bruised welts on day 2 are now little bumps that don’t itch and aren’t really visible. So great I have bought several as gifts for friends. It is one of the best inventions!

It was recommended. I’m prone to getting bug bites, I think it is my blood. I received this yesterday, set it up as I was packing it for a tropical trip and I happened to have gotten two bug bites last night. I used it and couldn’t believe it. This is a game changer for me. First time I didn’t scratch through the night. Woke up and it feels like I have never been bitten. So excited to find something not drug related. I will be buying more.

I was hesitant but a friend told me about this and oh my goodness it works so well! Life changing. My mosquito bits used to be an inch in diameter and now if I zap it right away with this it goes away completely within hours. And if I don’t catch it until later but get a chance to zap it with this it’s definitely way smaller and less itchy than before. What a game changer.

This thing absolutely works. I am terrorized by mosquitos and no-see-ums. The get huge, itchy welts. This contraption, used directly on the welt , immediately kills the itch. But, it is quite a little intense HOT spot when working. It have found that you need to press it super hard on the spot, hold your breath and then wait for the beep to signal your pain and itchiness are OVER. Would I use it on a kid? No. Am I a wuss? I don’t think so. It is blindingly hot when the batteries are fresh. But it has to be HOT to kill the itch. Do I like the white hot pain? Not really. Ok, maybe a little. But I prefer the 5 seconds of heat over and endless evening of scratching that seems to go on forever. Topical sprays never work and downing Benadryl like tic-tacs makes for a sluggish evening. So, I carry one of these things with me everywhere. It doesn’t leave a mark. If you feel like it isn’t hot—probably time to change the batteries!

I swell up badly when I get mosquito bites and they torture me for days. Not any more, this thing is amazing! Completely takes away any itching, especially if i get it very soon after the bite happens. It hurts but it's totally worth it. Highly recommended.

We took a chance on trying out the original model when it was a deal of the day at the big box electronic store, it totally paid off! We do a lot of gardening and outdoor activities up here in MN and inevitably get attacked by mosquitos. This helps so much! If you treat the bite right away it stops the itch from even starting. Some times it takes a few zaps when we can't get to the bite right away and end up itching it but it will get the job done. The batteries are lasting a shockingly long time as well. We now got the BR10 to put on a lanyard or keychain so we will have it on hand right away, it gets just as hot! We have recommended it our friends and they love it!
