This monitor was my gift to me at retirement. I wanted a monitor that I could pull up multiple screens for genealogy. I can know have my genealogy program up, my Excel file up, and my research book up on the screen at the same time!! With all of this open I do not have the dreaded flicker or color degradation. As you get older flicker and distortion are an issue that can cause extreme eye strain. This monitor provides Total genealogy bliss! My husband, retired IT nerd, liked my setup so much he bought one for himself. He can now have the current model he is building up with the decal MFGR data and the NASCAR actual car up on the screen at the same time. For those still working, you can have multiple screens up to toggle about to make your boss happy. I know this sounds boring, but I spent 40 years in Suppy Chain and I know data is key. The ability to see all your data on one screen is priceless - as long as it is reasonable priced, has good picture quality, and lasts.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT, LIMITED WARRANTY, AND TECH SUPPORT

I'm a student so after these blotches on the screen started showing up I immediately turn to tech support, we re-ran the tests that I already had done, they send me a replacement THAT HAS WORSE ISSUES, I'm patient and kind as I have been despite knowing that lacking a working monitor ($700) is KILLING MY PRODUCTIVITY, we run the tests despite it being obvious and the fact that I ran those tests (I'm an engineer stupid), I stay patient and kind, they send me another replacement, THAT IS WORSE THAN THE REPLACEMENT FOR THE REPLACEMENT MEANT TO REPLACE THE DAMAGED MONITOR. I send it back after confirming this with them by running those tests with them again. I don't hear back or see a replacement being shipped out despite their email saying they will ship me another after I demand a brand new one like was expected in the first damn place. I send a courteous reply email asking what's is going on with my THIRD REPLACEMENT MONITOR?! Same tech support team emails me back, oh you have to call in and start new ticket. WTF INFINITY WITH DELL. Miserable #*%@!!!
