These are sturdy and inexpensive plates. I order them for our office. We are attempting to use recyclable products as much as possible and these fulfilled that requirement. Easy cleanup in the breakroom and the plates do not leak.

Ehhh, will work as a substitute but not a full time option

I tried these to see if I could replace my normal disposable plates. I would rather have echo friendly. These were cheaper than my norm. They will hold food and the aren't Styrofoam. However, they're not near as sturdy and they feel waxy. Would do in a pinch but I will stick to my ol'faithfuls for now.
