Best reusable silicone bag I've tried!
By MomOfMals on Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2023
I'll start by disclosing I received this copco bag at no charge in return for my honest review... At first I really didn't think I was going to like the slide bar closure, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use, has a directional arrow, seems very well made, seals the bag well time after time even w/arthritis in my hands & best of all with no leaking! There's so much to love about this bag... unlike others I've bought I've had no problems reclosing the bag after the first few washes, which has been an issue with the several other brands I've tried. It's easy to wash by hand (haven't tried dishwasher yet) the food grade silicone is heavy duty, yet very pliable with rounded bottom corners that I don't have to scrape/dig food out of. It's also sturdy enough to stand on it's own with the bottom expanded, so easy to fill and get excess air out of. This bag was put through it's paces.. put chili in it, then froze it, thawed it & put in the microwave to reheat, it passed all my tests including not becoming stained/discolored from my tomato based chili! I will absolutely buy more of this particular bag in different sizes! This is one of those things that paying a little more up front will be worth it in the long run.

Thinner grade silicon and more complex seal than alternatives
By H. Hendrickson on Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2023
I have a couple sets of Stasher bags that I’m going to compare this one to, for reference. 1) The silicone on this is much thinner than on the Stasher bags. To me, that means it’s not going to hold up to constant use and will be more likely to puncture or tear. 2) As others have already pointed out, this doesn’t use a zipper seal, it uses a rigid plastic piece that presses the lips together to form the seal. This means that it is more prone to leaking, and it’s another piece to break or lose making this bad useless over time. 3) It’s pretty expensive, for a single bag. Stasher aren’t cheap either, but the cost for a single bag is pretty high, even one that is “infinitely” reusable. I haven’t tried to use it in the freezer to see how it holds up, but I’d be worried that the plastic seal part would become more brittle and break or that the silicone might tear due to hard edges. So I’d say to stick to using this one in the pantry or with non-liquid items in the fridge and you will probably be fine. But there are so many brands of these out now that I don’t think that this one is worth the cost. For about the same cost, you can get a multi-pack at your local discount store that will probably last just as long as these.
