I have been remolding my pool bar area and I had wanted to update my WiFi extender to WiFi 6. While browsing Amazon for extenders, I came across this one that was a factory refurbished and worked with my current TP-Link router at an amazing price so I decided to purchase it.Once it arrived it came in a plain box with some bubble wrap. It was so easy to install and connect with the tether app from TP-Link. Now my bar and bbq area has faster internet for my guests and I am able to watch smart TV without any interruptions.

Horrible connectivity and range, unless you connect in very close proximity to router. Meaning, the range to the dead zones is non-existent. I have a 10 yr old plain Jane TP-L router that leaves this version 6 in the dust. Ok, I have a large 5k sq ft home, but the ancient TP-L dinosaur extender covers every square inch with good strength. Go figure. Very prompt resolution by Amazon customer service.
