Essential for Bug Control – Works Great!
By Ortal on Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2025
I bought two of these for my home in Florida, and they have made a huge difference! The 4200V grid effectively zaps mosquitoes and flies, making outdoor time much more enjoyable. It covers a wide area, and I’ve noticed a big drop in bugs since using it. The durable ABS plastic shell adds safety, and the removable tray makes cleaning easy. If you live in a bug-prone area, this is a must-have!

yet one more eye roller
By Carla Ooyen on Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2024
It is an utter mystery to me as to how this is a continued top-seller. I would not buy this again. I also do not believe anyone is using it for more than a week if they rate it over 3 stars or are doing a follow-up review. 3 stars is "fair" in the rating world, and it is a fair-operating and fair-priced (at $32) thing. Why lacking 2 stars:-1 star = Placed in the shade on a Tucson porch on April 18. I will estimate the high temp since then has been 95-110. You care about this because I have not touched the bottom screw bosses, and all of them have split apart as of mid-August. This now has no bottom to contain the mess. I do not see any reason this would not happen to anyone and everyone. Again, it is a mystery why I am not seeing those reviews when I hung it up and did nothing to it but remove the 14-turn thing and tap it on my hand to remedy that hideous internal design while holding a shopvac between my knees to suck up the mess.-1 star = it is pretty hard to clean. Reality is that you NEED to remove the 3 screws and get into it and brush off the guts from the guts of the machine, but yet if you do that it sure looks like the screw bosses would blow apart faster.I don't care if it has no bottom at this point: easier for me to not clean it and the birds and lizards are getting free snacks. For $59.99 full price it should have a photocell, and since Amazon says it has a sustainability feature of carbon offsets, maybe it SHOULD have a photocell at any price.
