I am totally impressed by what I received in two orders. The photos showed a quality thick cardboard tube, numerous staples, quality tightly wound jute, and the jute strands kept properly oriented. I received exactly what was shown and described. The jute was tightly woven, no frayed strands. All four of the scratching posts are perfect. Very impressive. Better than I could have rewound my old posts. Now I need to find the high quality jute used and up the bar on the rewind. Time to plan a new cat tree!

Cats won't use it

Our cats love rope scratch posts, but they won't touch this one. The rope is very hard and it has a chemical smell to it. We have four indoor cats two of whom at 11 years old and have always used rope scratch posts and none of them will touch this one. Something about the smell and texture of the rope they don't like at all.
