Excellent Trail Running Shoe

I am incredibly impressed with the Brooks Men's Cascadia 16 Trail Running Shoe! As an avid trail runner, these shoes have exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, performance, and durability. hard to get on because of internal structure and fit tight on me.

Seems like a well made shoe, though it ran small for me. The real issue I had, that kept me from ordering a half size bigger, was an internal structure attached to the tongue. It's hard to describe, but with the laces undone it still holds the shoe close, making them hard to get on for me, without feeling like I was going to tear that internal structure, almost like an internal sock on the sides, that attaches from the bottom to the top, but not the sides. so when you stretch the shoe open to put on, it separates from the sides and makes the shoe narrower, while also making it hard to get the shoe open wide enough to get my feet in. Granted, I have big feet with a high resting arch. you mileage may vary, but it seems like an unnecessary design element. I would have really liked to try this shoe out otherwise, at 1/2 size larger than I normally wear.
