The Best Thing Since Betty White

Oh DJ Roomba, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways! If you’re on the fence, BUY IT. Are you a normal person with an insane schedule and never quite enough time to keep the floors clean? BUY IT. I’m a stay-at-home-work-from-home busy person with a toddler and 2 Labrador retrievers. I thought there was no way a robot vacuum could keep up with the mess, and what’s the point when I still have to mop multiple times a week to keep the floors clean? I was soooo skeptical of this vacuum-mop combo. I figured I’d give it a go: it was on sale, I was a margarita in, and it’d been a hard week. This little guy changed my life. Pros: The mopping is immaculate! I’m so picky about my mops and floor cleaners. With just water and some intense scrubbing features, this little guy cleans up so well It collects so much dirt and dog hair! And my puppy follows it around, so he gets exercise! The mapping feature is amazing. I can tell it to clean a specific room, skip a room, or even focus on one specific spot. Great battery life. I can vacuum and mop my whole 1300sq Ft house and still be at 67% charge. Low profile. All of the furniture I never move to vacuum under? Yeah, it fits under them all. Amazingly easy set up. We’re talking 5 minutes to unbox and connect to wifi. An hour to charge, then he was ready to roll. Cons: The mopping function is a little loud, so I wouldn’t run it while sleeping. The dust bin is small, so I have to empty it every time I run the vacuum. It doesn’t do shag carpet. This isn’t necessarily a con, just worth noting. I have one shag rug that I have to vacuum myself, but that is quick and easy. The app isn’t super intuitive at first. It doesn’t give clear directions to switch to advanced mode and map out your house. It took me 15 minutes of fumbling around to find all the features I wanted to utilize. Again, just worth knowing! It’s worth noting it’s been less than a week. I’ll update if something changes!

They don’t stand behind their products

I bought 3 yeedi total the first one worked so well I quickly ordered another upgraded model for myself and one as a gift, unfortunately that was a terrible mistake they both quit working due to a malfunctioning sensor. They would stop cleaning and an error “please clean the anti drop sensor “ would appear and no matter what you did to try and clear the issue it continued. The one I bought for my friend was not being used. Due mostly because she lives in another state and she didn’t know how to set up the schedule cleanings, so for months it really didn’t do anything. She is married with one small dog , so when I visited, I set The cleaning schedules for her . Believe me when I tell you, it was like brand new and it was not being overworked, but after four months after me setting the schedule for her, she got the same error message about the drop sensor and because it was over a year after I bought it all they kept saying was you can buy another one . After having two Stop working due to the same issue , I have absolutely NO desire to ever own another one . I’m curious because after searching the Internet on how to fix it ,I found it is a serious problem and they know about it , they chose not to order a recall or even offer a way to fix it , their go to was to fall back on it has been over a year when they can clearly see through the app that it was not being used And only lasted four months after it started getting used. I also sent them pictures and videos and you can clearly see it looks brand new. I just can not buy from a company that does not stand by their products.
