It works!

I'm in my garage daily to sew and do crafts. I open the garage door often, but I still do not get enough sunlight. I believe light therapy works for me and my depression. I feel good throughout the day. Prior to using this light therapy lamp, I felt down, tired and just blah. My daughter has depression as well, she purchased a light therapy lamp and has had great results from using it daily. This lamp has different levels of brightness and has a good timer. Sometimes I forget to turn it off.

It's great for light and has 3 brightness settings. But the type/color is more of a white light than what I feel the sunlight should be. Was expected a bit more warmth in the light and brightness. If you want bright this is perfect. If you want something that feels more like sunlight, get something else.

We purchased two of these therapy lights for a family member who suffers from Seasonal Affect Disorder. We have used a number of different lights over the years, and we have noticed the illumination dulls over time. This light in particular is amazingly bright and compact, and fairly inexpensive to replace over time. We have one in the family room and one in the bedroom. Very pleased with the product.

For a while I had to be nocturnal and this lamp really helped keep me sane. It’s a nice bright light, doesn’t get too hot to the touch, and is easy to put wherever you need it. Now that I’m awake during the day I’m going to send it to my Dad up North for Christmas.

This light is very bright. It took me a bit to find a good place for it. I haven’t tried the timer function yet, but I love the light it gives off and brings happiness to the many dark days of winter where I live. I have gotten in the habit of using it every day and I have noticed an overall improvement in my mood and negative thoughts! Love it.

I bought this hoping it would help me with chronic and severe recurring insomnia that I had been suffering from all year for no apparent reason.. and it did help, immediately! I had believed portable meant a battery life and the light could be unplugged and moved with you throughout the house. It requires being plugged in. Portable meant it could easily be moved from room to room. My bad.
