Goodbye (to some) Plastic! Hello Nutrichef glass containers (with plastic lids) !

These are really wonderful. They are stackable, simple and clean design, leak proof with plastic lids that snap on and off so easily, and they're very easy to clean. Slowly, they will replace all the similar-sized plastic containers. I use them for storage of raw cat food in the freezer. Plastic lids are thick and durable. They make kitty meal prep a breeze. All in all, these have helped me get a bit further away from plastic. I wonder if there is a way to make the lids glass or metal ?

Ditch the lids

I hate the plastic lids! I wish I had found another jar with metal lids. I was in a time crunch to get my cat’s raw food prepped and frozen before I left for an international trip so I ended up buying 3 cases of these jars. The lids make a mess in the cabinet and the little clasps come undone. It’s also a pain if you hand wash because you can’t use boiling water on them. I think I’m going to search for some metal lids to fit these jars and get rid of the plastic ones.
