The heating function failed- but fan still working- I opened the terminal cover and found that the 220 V terminal , and copper connector lug- and wires and insulation completely vaporised and even greater mystery the green ground wire was also now melted and separated. the green ground wire also melted and separated. As a temporary check- I re- connected the 220 volt wire to terminal- and the heating elements and fan worked- I removed this terminal- and have put the heater aside- To be clear , the until was positioned clear of other object and was exhausing, in an upward inclined plane- even thought I have had the unit for tow months , this was the first time I had it run, as a heater . it failed emotive during the night. I would expect that the seller should be considering some recall- if this model, causes damages beyond what just experienced and what I see in many reviews , re the unit failing.
