Very pleased with this thermometer. Of the 2 we purchased over 3 years ago, one continues to work great and the other was finally damaged by being dropped multiple times by the elderly user and stopped working. Just ordered a replacement- same make and model. They work well through the metal siding in the house and have stood up well to the weather. Both were consistent in temps displayed indoors and out. Easy to use, convenient size, good battery life, recommended !

Better than NO thermometer

I've had this for few months, It's ok not great. Indoor base unit seems accurate when compared to other thermometers. In winter the reading seems accurate within a degree or two. Outside thermometer reading in summer is jaded at best...As stated in manual...when temp is over 80F reading supposedly calculates and incorporates heat index into reading so it's a distorted medium between actual temp and heat index. When I buy a thermometer I want an accurate temperature. I'd rather have actual temp and I'll figure out the heat index. Outside humidity reading seem accurate. So it's better than no thermometer.
