Great Cage I mean Playpen for kids!
By Cecilia Vu on Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2025
Purchased for my infant ahead of being a soon to be crawler. This is a great playpen to allow your kid to explore on it's own without the fear of getting into something dangerous while busy. What's included: Frame and reversable comfort matt. I elected to get a different one online, not because the one it came with was bad but because I wanted one that was softer. Setup: Was pretty simple and easy. The build quality is what you would expect. It's important to note that there is foam on some of the poles intentionally and not to be taken off. This protects your child from any danger IE falling and hitting their head. This build does require some surface area you will have to sacrifice in your home. Please consider the dimensions to ensure you have enough space. Mobility: Make sure you build it in the area you want it, worst mistake would to build it and try to move it later... Pros: Fun and safe play area for babies/toddlers Looks great and can contain a lot of toys you may not want to accidently step on Easy setup, only took about 30 mins Gives parents piece of mind that their kid will be safe while you get a breather Cons: Hanging items can be tricky as the protecting layer is thick I could see this breaking if someone was to trip and fall on the structure so be careful Could take up a lot of precious space you may not have

Extremely Dangerous
By Stephen Price on Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2023
The Good: It's definitely large and big enough for me (6'1") to lay down in either direction and not touch the sides. Handy for when I need somewhere to sleep other than the king size bed I paid for in the large bedroom I also paid for because someone else won't let me sleep there... The Bad: It is not sturdy, just like the other people have said. I had to reinforce a couple of joints as one of my 9 month old twins stood up, then fell over and out of the playpen along with the side of it. Easily fixed, although one would assume that it would have been better constructed or have something to prevent this from happening. Fortunately he was not hurt. I needed to change my diaper, though, as it scared the crap out of me... The Ugly: Also as others have mentioned, the foam mat can be easily picked apart. Day One my twins were making small holes in it, leaving little pieces of foam for them to potentially eat. They pick at the art on the mat, and by doing so make little cuts that end up being these small pieces of broken foam. Fortunately they stopped picking at that...probably because they discovered their nostrils... Next was them chewing off hunks of the foam around the edges. I got them to stop doing that, not sure how. I guess they actually listen to me, unlike my wife... Next was finding little bits of super thin plastic. Upon close inspection, I noticed that the blue coloring has a thin film over it and as you can see from the video, it takes no effort and no time to tear off a bunch of plastic which could easily be ingested. I thought I removed all of it, then my smart wife suggested we flip over the mat as it's double-sided. She is smart, but we didn't realize that the brown painted parts also have that film that can be easily removed. So that lasted one minute before my boys started pulling that apart. In short, we now use the playpen without the foam mat (unless I'm pouting and sleeping in it) and put in sturdy, heavy foam gym floor interconnecting tiles. So...unless you want your children eating foam and plastic film, I do not recommend this item!

Item arrived in a box labeled with big lettering saying what was inside. That is the only concern I have with the purchase and delivery. The actual Playpen arrived in perfect condition. The directions were very easy to follow with pictures for those who hate to read directions. I ordered the 71x79 and was pleasantly surprised by how much room there actually was.
Safe space!

We live in a giant old farm house. This has come in handy so many times to keep my little one safe while I go to the next room to switch laundry or run up stairs to put something away. Plenty of room to play!

Great, wish directions were more clear for assembly but it works wonderfully for our 9 month old.
Works for what we need it for

Overall it works how we’d like. It’s decent size length and height and easy enough to put together. Had to look up a video on YouTube to assemble since we didn’t get any instructions. The padding isn’t soft but it’s very easy to clean if dirty. Downfall it’s not the sturdiest and the areas it’s seamed together will tear if pushed on. The play area itself is very nice and work for what we have it for.
