Your laptop MUST have two USB-C ports next to each other on same side to get full charging capability. I bought a new XPS 13 loaded, however it only has two usb-c ports, one on each side of the laptop. The cords are split, but not enough to allow for each plug to reach the opposite sides of the laptop. If you need high wattage, but lack the ports next to each other, buy a different unit.
