Keep weather and insects from damaging soundbar

You really need the soundbar storm shield if you’re going to leave it outside. At first I purchase the 65” TV storm shield thinking since the soundbar sets directly underneath the soundbar wouldn’t get wet, then it rained with the wind blowing very hard, the soundbar got soak and wet, thankfully the sound bar was unplugged. I waited several days to make sure the inside was dry before powering up to see if it was still working, soon as the sound played hornets came out of the soundbar they build a nest inside the speaker openings. I never thought that much into it until these two events happened to me, so please use my experience if you’re on the fence deciding on purchasing a soundbar storm shield for your outdoor entertainment system.

Works, but hole design is stupid

First the product works, so I won’t give it 1 star, but the hole design is dumb. The matching TV storm shell uses 8 holes, 2 per stud all 16 inches apart. They means the center is 24”… the speaker shell uses 4 holes, 2 per stud and they are 32” apart.. you can’t center the speaker bar with the TV without drilling your own holes which also means the speaker bar itself is being supported only by the plastic shell and not by a stud like intended. I could see over time the plastic cracking from supporting the speaker bar weight with the temperature fluctuations that we have in Louisiana. Only time will tell.
