The perfect travel booster
By Ian on Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2024
Currently on a 2+ week road trip on the west coast and the rental car company charges $10/day to rent one seat. For my 2 kids (5 and 9) that would equate to over $300 in seat rental fees. A quick search here and this highly rated booster was delivered to our starting point in 1 day and for a fraction of what we'd pay in rental fees plus we get to keep them. These are compact, look great, kids say they're comfortable, easy to install (and have shoulder harness adjusters), and were incredibly priced! Over a week into this trip and these are more than serving their purpose and we were going to donate them to a family friend when we were done but may actually take the with us now since they're not that bulky to carry onto a flight. The only thing I'd add here is that these seats are not attached with any latch system. These are strictly boosters that keep the lap and shoulder belts at the right positions for little kids. They are easily worth the price paid.

Hard to use (explained below)

Let's start by saying if you need more than one seat for multiple kids or in my case for my car and grandma's this is a good deal and they will do their job. However, these are bulky and make it hard for the child to buckle in on their own because of how the seat sets this may not be a problem in every vehicle but it is for all of our vans and my mother-in-laws suv (vans and suvs typically have more seat room than cars so it's likely to be an issue in cars too) it causes frustration when we are in a hurry and my kid can't get buckled. As an adult not in the seat it is even hard for me to get the buckle around the seat into the slot properly because of how it sticks out. Next issue is the cup holder; it doesn't hold well. I think for safety purposes this seat will do it's job but fair warning it's annoying. For the price since you get two I would say it's probably worth it but I would definitely recommend a seat belt extension that beings the buckle up beside the seat better if you end up with the same issues we are having or get a different seat.
