I have had one of these chargers for about 2 years now and have recently bought a second for my work desk. They are great, they charge reasonably quick and have never failed me. They will charge through some of the thickest cases (Magsafe of course) and plain plastic cases on the market in MY experience. I have never tried metal cases which im pretty sure is not a good idea anyhow due to the heat it may produce. Definetly a great product.

Charger that does not charge?

Like many other reviewers have noted, this charger has started to flash, rendering it unable to charge. Previously I could unplug it and plug it back in and it would start working again. That (absurd) remedy no longer works. It now fails to accomplish the one task it has been built for. Bravo. Purchased 10/24, useless plastic 1/25.
