THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!

I first bought this product a week ago and after a few days the touch pad stopped working, I couldn't see the monitors anymore and I couldn't adjust the temperature, time, nothing. The touchpad simply wouldn't work. Then I decided, yes, it could happen, we might've just been unlucky and the fryer was malfunctioned. We returned the first one and ordered a replacement, only to have the touchpad not work again. I don't know if I'm not getting something and if the touchpad just disappears and there's a specific way to switch it on, but I've tried everything and it just won't turn on, now mind you, the fryer still switches on when we plug the fryer into an outlet and it makes a loud sound. The fryer still does the job but we have to separately put a timer and have no control over the temperature. I will try emailing the manufacturer, but if nothing can be done, then this is a complete waste of money.
