Works perfect with 2X4's to fit to needed size. Use 2 packs to stabilize the upper section if using 8 ft uprights, but not mandatory.

2x4 is not a standard board size

The major issue I had with this product is the size requirements of this product. I’m a do it at home person and i didn’t realize 2x4 is not a true size at the lumber yard. All of the boards are 3 1/4 x 1 3/4. This issue made me have to buy 2x6 and trim off 2 niches off the board to make them fit in the frame. If i would have know 2x4 is not a true size i would have chose another option. It created a lot of extra work for me sense i do not own a table saw. So keep in mind 2x4 is not a true size at the lumber yard.
