An Effective Post-Laser Touch-Ups Solution
By HM3 on Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2025
I’ve been using the Nood Flasher 2.0 for over a month now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the results. I had professional laser hair removal a few years ago. While the treatment resulted in about 80% of overall hair reduction, I was still left with some patchy growth afterwards. I was too lazy to continue to go in for monthly touchups, not to mention that I would be charged for each touchup session. So I finally got this to tackle some lingering patches, particularly on my face, under my chin, and underarms. These areas are hormonal and tend to be stubborn, so I knew that it would take time. However, after about 3 weeks, I started noticing that the super coarse hairs were growing a bit slower and noticeably softer. I typically pass over each area three times per session (as recommended) and do about 3 sessions a week. I exfoliate and shave before I laser, exactly how I used to do when I went in-person for sessions. Even with a moderate pain tolerance, I was able to start at level 3 comfortably. It gets warm, but it’s nothing too intense or unmanageable. The device itself is easy to use, and I wear my darkest sunglasses before using it because my eyes are sensitive to the bright flashes. I like focusing on one or two areas at a time instead of doing my whole body. Honestly, it made it less overwhelming and easier to stay consistent. I'll continue to use it and will probably do my legs next. It’s not instant magic, but if you commit to the process, it’s an effective solution that fits into a normal routine. Just be patient, stay consistent, and treat it like skincare. Results build over time.

UPDATE -- One star is too many! Complete waste of money, and a LOT of time!!!!
By Ryan M. Adams on Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2023
Original review: Just as I was about to use this product for the first time, I double-checked the instructions, to find that you have to treat each area twice a week, for 8 weeks. I've just finished 8 weeks, and have seen absolutely no change whatsoever. I am a man with fairly thick hairs, so I am going to continue, past the instructed 8 weeks, with the hope that my particular hair will just take longer. If it works, I will return and amend this revue...but for now, the arduous process has been fruitless. UPDATE: I was contacted by a company representative, who informed me that I probably needed to perform 3 treatments per week, and that each treatment must be 3 PASSES of the entire area -- neither of which is anywhere to be found in the product's manual. There was absolutely no mention of the product's refund guarantee in our correspondence. This meant that another 8-10 week session, after the vastly insufficient initial 10 week session I performed, following the manual's instructions to the letter, put me well past the refund window (SHADY!) I took it a step further, and did a treatment every other day, meaning I did 30 treatments (10 weeks' worth) in just over 8 weeks. There has been absolutely ZERO change in my hair growth. The first time around, I was treating my chest and abdomen, which took a half-an-hour each time. This time, making 3 passes each time, I just worked on my chest and earlobes, which still took a half-an-hour. All hair has grown right back, just as fast as before. This means that, over all, I have wasted 20 hours of my life, with nothing to show for it! Additionally, I was getting periodic shocks. I have a high pain tolerance, so I chose to assume I was just reacting to the heat of the flash in sensitive areas (it happened frequently at the lateral end of my clavicles), until I received an electric shock through my finger, which happened to be lightly resting on the "Flash Button", while the unit was in automatic mode. It has never been dropped, nor jarred in any way, so this bodes ill for the actual construction of this product. The shocks were sharp, but not horribly painful...but the unit is plugged into a wall outlet during use, so there is an element of danger. This was a complete waste of my money, and again, 20 HOURS of my time, not including time spent shaving areas before treatments. I had such high hopes, but my Nood is going right in the garbage.
