Noise cancelling
By Ryan on Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2025
These are truly noise cancelling. I used them while pressure washing and could not hear the loud machine while listening to music. If your connecting to multiple devices for example listening to music on your phone and then switching to a tablet you need to disconnect from your phone first otherwise they will not connect to tablet. These are great headphones. Not too heavy and comfortable. Good value for the price.

Overall Not As Good As The Old Design - If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
By JayDubYa on Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2025
I have been buying the E7 since 2017 and I'm an engineer. Therefore, I'm a firm believer in the adage that, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Now it would seem Cowin has been bought out or changed their name to Silensys. As a big plus, the newer version of the E7 has a USB-C charging port. But, instead of the slide switch for power, you now must hold down a power button until you hear, "Power On" (in a slight Chinese accent) and then, "Connected". There is now, therefore, a slightly longer delay in powering on. In addition, the volume is not as loud, the bass is not as good and the battery charge does not seem to last as long as in previous models. Now, I would have given the new design 5 stars just for swapping out the charging port for a USB-C rather than the micro USB (the micro is definitely a 'broke' design and always has been) and leaving everything else the same (and would have gladly paid $50 and called it a good deal). But, the other design changes caused me to deduct two stars. You can still buy the old design on Amazon if you want to pay $60 - which is way overpriced as it still has the micro charging port. On the other hand, this the new design is about $40 right now - which is also overpriced, IMHO based on the design changes.
