MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo Business Laptop

This thing is beautiful. Bought it for myself, but when I saw it for the first time in person, I realized it would be the perfect gift for my spouse. It is gorgeous, fast, and its battery lasts for a very long time.

Just received this laptop from the seller BESTDEAL. I was expecting the A11MT-223 and instead received the A11MT-243. Double check what you receive from this seller. Laptop wise- this thing is sleek. It runs smooth, and the keyboard isn't bad at all. Ive only used it for a few hours but i can say right off the bat to make sure you always have this on a hard flat surface to allow the cooler to circulate air...this thing runs HOT. Audio is what you'd expect from such a slim build so no complaints there. All in all if you're looking for a sleek travel laptop for work, this thing is a great buy.

I bought this almost a year ago, I've had multiple issues for which MSI has been fighting with me over ticket for a month about not honoring their warranty: * Esc key keeps popping off * Hinge is really soft and laptop screen keeps wobbling * Overheating when being used * There is a array of dead pixels on the top right of the screen * The trackpad when flexed cannot be pushed, this means that when I use the laptop on my lap it sometimes gets stuck * The touchscreen has completely stopped working The touch panel means the laptop will randomly touch itself, this means it is unusable. I contacted the local repair center and the response was that they have explicit orders not to accept any warranty since January, they just keep pointing fingers at each other, never buying an MSI laptop again. I've been denied warranty too many times, I'm never buying MSI again, just check reddit, too many issues with this brand, sticking to Framework or Lenovo

Fast, light and durable laptop

The Good: Slim, light, good for light gaming, decent battery life when using it. Looks slick. Build quality is pretty good, and pretty nice to type on. Great IO, full-size HDMI and USB, with micro-sd, and headphone jack. The Ok: Track pad is pretty meh, it gets the job done, but not particularly big or nice to use. Hinge doesn't seem to be quite strong enough. At some angles it just kinda falls. The Bad: It's hot, even on the power saving setting, it gets too hot to sit on bare skin when doing light web browsing. Likewise, when using it in tablet mode, you have to hold it on the edge where it exhausts the hot air... which it's great to hold. I've tried a ton of power settings in the MSI app, none of them seem to help. Battery drains quickly when it's in sleep mode. If I charge it to full, use it for like 30 minutes, then let it sleep for a day, it'll be a dead brick on day 2. Wifi takes forever to connect. Once connected, it works fine, but it sometimes takes over a minute to connect. Worst part, after 9 months, it's got a stuck green pixel. Contacted MSI and it needs to be 5 pixels before it's considered a defect. So now I just get to have this one green pixel scream at me from now on. yay.

There was a small software problem, but the seller handled it professionally! Recommended.

Good computer with excellent specifications. Overall meets the user's needs. Two shortcomings: 1) Battery life is subpar for a business computer which is how MSI classifies the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo 13.4. 2) Heat that develops on the bottom can get uncomfortably hot after a few minutes of actually using this laptop on one's lap. This computer was purchased from Toll Brothers in September 2022 for $1596. No problem with the seller. Shipped and arrived promptly. I had no need to contact the seller. Date of review: 11.21.2022

The stylus and the technology for detecting is a joke, there’s no purpose for it; you’ll end up needing to buy or hook up a real drawing tablet, mite as well not include the gimmick and save on a real buff up computer for the same price. Anyways the intel processor is to be expected; all intel draw power and heat up, the computer works as expected, I would not recommend buying this model because of the price. I know they don’t sell it as a drawing tables directly, but that’s what they want you to believe it does and even so, they would be better off with out the pen and the extra cost.

The battery lasts decently long. The screen is awesome. The pen didn't work though.
