My gums haven't felt this good in many years
By William on Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2022
I've had the Sonic Fusion 2.0 for about a month now. I have several crooked teeth, and many deep fillings where I kept getting food trapped down behind the fillings and rinse and repeat ya da ya da despite flossing daily. Doc recommended the Sonic Fusion. Wow. Just Wow. I went from having sore spots on my gums to never even thinking about them anymore in just one month. The best feature about this combo unit, in my opinion, is that the water jet is situated in the center of the toothbrush head, and the head DOES NOT SWIVEL, meaning that the water goes where you direct it to go (versus the old waterpics, where the tip woiuld swivel in mid-use and make a huge mess. This unit allows you to pulse down the gum line, and between the teeth. My specific regimen is to use it at night right before bed, warm water with a splash of mouthwash. I floss first, but I keep just a bit of the water in the basin for a final rinse-out. I brush next, then a final blast with the waterpic then I give myself a final rinse with a fluoride mouthwash and done. About every 2 to 3 days I run a thread of real floss down the teeth that have edges touching, but that's about all that's needed. Bottom line: This thing works great, even if you didn't have much success with the standalone waterpics, because the design of the instrument aims water where you want it to go while the brushhead keeps water from getting too far from the area you are flossing. Even if you never used the toothbrush head as a toothbrush, it makes the flossing part work even better. Of course, it won't work if you plug it in and look at it as you walk past it;) But it's worth every penny.

Not sealed for water well, malfunctions in a very short time.
By Avery Arnold on Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2022
This device needs a lot of improvements: - Foremost, it needs a good water seal, it takes water splashes inside easily and electronics get wet/broken. - There is an unused hole left from a former model's switch underneath which adds another weak spot for water ingestion. - Spiral flex tube is hard to put back in place after each use, it needs to be designed on the bottom, taking the brush body in the middle. - The overall body design has lots of cavities/hard to clean spots, it should have been more simple and curved against bathroom spills and residue buildup. - Power adapter need to be built in the unit, only a plain power cord should go in the plug. - Replacement brushes are expensive, only the very minimal tip should be replaceable, not the whole plastic part. It causes a big waste for the environment.
