Great value, but unpleasant fan sound at high RPM

Pros:- Doom Eternal runs 70 FPS at 4k with RT and DLSS on and all settings maxed out, except for texture pool size which doesn't fit into 8gb. No impact on how cool the game looks tho! My CPU is also 10 years old and it doesn't even matter!- Small form factor, fits into tight spaces -- it's not too thick and not too wide and not too long - it's just the perfect size- Overclocks great BUT games might crash after 30 minutes of play if you overdo it, even if Unigine Heaven stress test passes.- Looks slick af. Just love holding it in my hands. No RGB stuff - some people might find it a con, but my box is always open so I don't want too much light while I'm asleep.- Inexpensive. I got it for $525 before the price went back up. I thought that is the max price I'd pay for it. Right now it's $100 extra which seems overpriced -- go for 3080 instead if you need one now.- Fans completely stop when idle, great for noise level and all.- 225W power draw at its peak, according to Afterburner. You'll need two separate cables from PSU (not one that splits!). This isn't too bad: a 3080 is probably 50% more power hungry.- Overall, great experience owning this card. No coil whine. Most games work great at 4k (with DLSS).Cons:- Fans spin at ~90% during active gaming. But if you push them to 95%+, some weird noise appears (See video)

Great product but Amazon never delivered it.

Purchased the product on Amazon, about $600 after tax. Never arrived, Amazon delivered pink face masks instead. Called support and they said they would correct the mistake by sending me the product I payed for, pink face masks arrived to my house for a second time. Contacted support again and was told, “cancel your order and make a new one.” At this point my pc had been built for an entire week with no GPU, and the shipping date had been extended—it was previously next day shipping. This means now I’m 1 week out from when the product was supposed to arrive, $600 short because the despite the refund being instant the bank is not instant so I will have to wait a week for my refund anyways, and Amazon has the gull to ask me to spend $600 more dollars so that I can reorder the product (which I now have zero confidence they will deliver,) and to top it off I don’t even get a refund on my next day shipping because it was through Amazon prime, and despite the fact that we pay for prime in order to get next day shipping, technically we didn’t pay for shipping. I just canceled my order and purchased the card from Newegg instead, arrived faster than what Amazon predicted the delivery date for their delivery would be and it was not face masks.The cards runs well though leaves room to be desired in thermal performance, but hey it’s a 2 fan card that pushes 2100mhz OC so that’s to be expected. The thermals aren’t concerning by any means, but I would like to see <70C, sometimes in 4K with everything maxed out you can see temps rise to 74-75C, though never more than 76C. That being said, it can run games maxed out in 4K at 60fps, some games might require an overclock or slight optimization while other games on the other hand run 4K maxed out at nearly 100fps with no overclock. So yeah, mixed bag depending on the game but it will easily push hundreds of frames in modern titles depending on resolution, optimization and overclocking.
