It fits!

My son has a wide foot and buying shoes, especially sports shoes, are a challenge. His size should be 2.5, but I ordered a 3 wide just to be safe. They are a little big, but he’s use to that with his shoes. We are overall happy with the purchase and happy to see him be able to run fast and normal due to the shoes not hurting his feet like an Adidas pair he was wearing prior to this. The outer shell is soft and not hard-plus for comfort. The cleat part is a slick, shiny plastic. I was worried they wouldn’t grip, but he went tried them in the backyard and ran great!

"Wide" size is NOT wide

The look and feel of this low-to-mid tier cleat is ok. It's slightly cheap in overall weight and heft, so I wonder about durability. The main problem is that the wide size is NOT wide. It doesn't even look wide. For my kid with wide feet it is tight in the toe box and loose in the heal. It's just not true to size, especially the width. I'm also a little concerned about the bottom of the spikes. They have no grip enhancement pattern of any kind, instead are shiny and slick. New Balance can do better than this.
