I recently purchased the MSI MAG342CQPV, and I am absolutely thrilled with my experience! This monitor has exceeded all my expectations and has quickly become an essential part of my setup. First off, the 34-inch curved display is stunning. The immersive 1500R curvature and ultra-wide QHD resolution provide an incredible viewing experience, whether I'm gaming, working, or watching movies. The colors are vibrant, and the details are crisp, making everything look amazing. One of the standout features for me is the 100Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. As a gamer, these specs are crucial, and the MSI MAG342CQPV delivers flawlessly. Gameplay is smooth, with no noticeable lag or ghosting, which makes a huge difference in fast-paced games. The build quality is solid and sturdy, and the monitor's sleek design adds a touch of elegance to my desk. I also appreciate the adjustable stand, which allows for easy height, tilt, and swivel adjustments to find the perfect viewing angle. Setting up the monitor was a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly interface and intuitive on-screen controls. The connectivity options are also excellent, with multiple ports that make it easy to connect all my devices. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the MSI MAG342CQPV. It's a fantastic monitor that offers exceptional performance and stunning visuals. If you're in the market for a top-notch ultra-wide monitor, I highly recommend giving this one a try. Five stars all the way!

Screen tearing/flickering/choppy
By Tibs on Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2023
Upgraded from 12 year old Dell 2560x1600 monitors that were 16:10 ratio. Love the dells, but they have screen power cycling issues due to the heat they generate from their massive 250 watt usage. What I will say for these 12 year old Dells is that I never once noticed screen tearing on them even though they run at 60hz. So I upgraded to these. Got them open box for a great deal. I will say that the monitors look amazing and the image is very crisp when there isn't motion on screen. But, with almost every video I got a very annoying amount of screen tearing/flickering and it made movies feel choppy and unwatchable. I didn't notice it playing Minecraft, but ultimately it was a dealbreaker. Since they don't come with GSync and I run a 3060 GTX, there wasn't much I could do to improve the issue, so I sent the monitors back. I then tried two Dell S3222HG, hoping the higher refresh rate and lower response time would help. Well, the flickering is gone, but the fact that I can clearly see the rows of pixels is annoying and makes the image feel like a circa 2005 LCD. Then add the fact that it's 1080p on a 32" monitor and the ratio of usable space to window frames is unbearable. Sending those back as well. Since it is impossible to find 4k AND a high refresh rate on a 32 right now without paying obscene amounts of money, I am dropping back to a tri-27" setup.
