Hamilton Beach Air Fryer Countertop Toaster Oven with Large (Open Box)

I wanted a combination toaster oven and air fryer that didn't take up a lot of counter space. I selected this unit primarily because of the slide-up door. Being able to remove the food from the unit and not have to have another section of counter space clear to set the food down makes it easy to use. However, the lack of recommendations for different types of food in the user's manual, especially as far as the use of the air fryer function, is very aggravating. I feel like I'm having to figure everything out by trial and error. Also, the timer dial is at the bottom of the unit, so frequently I have to bend over to see the numbers at the bottom of the dial; moving it to the center of the unit would have made this dial much easier to use. Finally, the unit didn't include a baking pan. These issues knocked it down from five stars to three. The slide up door is such a convenience that I probably still would select this unit over the others I considered; I just wish the manufacturer had spent some more refining the details of a good product.
