Hoover PowerDash GO Pet+ Portable Spot Cleaner

This product worked well for 8 months and then stopped working. We contacted hoover and provided them with a recording of the machine humming only, our invoice from Amazon proving we purchased it ( as requested by them). It's been over a week and radio silence. As pet owners we purchased this machine for the occasional pet mishap clean-up, so it's only been used a handful of times on small areas. When it worked it worked well. It is light weight and pretty much plug and play. The canister that holds the waste fluid is easy to remove and rinse out. The tubes inside the area that hold the waste fluid are not easy to clean out, it would be nice if they were removable. and the hose isn't easy to clean either. For the price paid the difficult to clean issues aren't that big of a deal to me. However, it crapping out after being used a handful of times and customer support being extremally difficult IS an issue. We expected a company like Hoover to treat their clients better. Very disappointed. *** I have changed my review from 1 star to 3. After much rigor moral, they sent us a new unit. We had to cut off the cord of the old one and send a picture verifying we did this, which is fine. I get making sure we aren't hustling a new unit. It shouldn't have taken a month of back and forth, audio recordings AND video just to get to that point though. Also, the replacement unit is not the same as the one purchased. I don't know if they aren't making it anymore or what.
