If you don't move and don't try to move this foot rest, it is great

But it falls at the least movement and takes a bit of effort to put all its pieces in place for it to be returned to the upright position. There is no way to lock it in place. This is a major design flaw. I think I will resort to wood glue to hold the supports in place since I don't really need it in the lower position.
