Looks well made, very good for heavy duty tasks, very flexible even though the wire are thick but made tough, weight is not too bad, holds up some good power for the heavy duty power tools, good value for the quality of DeWalt brand and functions well.

The locking mechanism is handy if you need it. If not it is just kinda in the way . And I found that over time it gets dirt and grit in the mechanism. And that makes it harder to use. But it is a heavy duty well built cord with a thick protective shielding .
