You can select from seven levels of intensity depending on the distance you are wanting to view. I am very impressed how well the goggles can view a long distance away in the dark!!! It's like shining a bright flashlight that nobody can see.The 4X zoom is just enough; the view would be a bit too shaky while holding the goggles if it were any greater.The large buttons are easy to find in the dark while holding the goggles. You will quickly get used the their function. Tap the left buttons to increase/decrease the IR intensity; hold the same buttons to zoom in/out.
