i wasn't sure if this was going to look like the picture but it absolutely does. my old one was stainless steel and looked all gross. i bought the black one and it fit perfect on my sink and looks great! would definitely recommend.

Looks great but the fit took serious work.

it's a TIGHT fit over our air gap, whereas our last cover was pretty loose. I kind of had to force it on, or else sand down the plastic air gap edges. First I tried to put it on - no way, impossible. Then I unscrewed the top of the air gap and pushed it in to the cover (so I wouldn't dent the cover by pounding it over the air gap) but the problem was I went too far and the threads wouldn't catch back onto the lower part of the air gap. Then I had to pull it back out a bit and finally caught the threads. Basically, for our existing air gap, it was hella ridiculously tight - to the point that I thought I might need to return it. Looks great now though, and now that I have it on I wonder how I will ever remove it to install a new sink. Oops.
