It's a Great Keyboard Case
By S. L. Smothers on Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2021
I like the versatility and the appreciable sturdiness if the device. It adds a noticeable amount of weight so it's really a plus that I can easily separate and leave the keyboard section off when it's not needed. The keyboard off makes it significantly lighter, while my iPad is still protected by the case covering the back and all sides.Recently, the keyboard was lagging a lot, to the point that it was words behind. I found out there was an update to 15.2 due. Once I installed the update, it was back to typing as normal. The backlight works well and without being a distraction.Just because the touchpad was supposed to be improved, I had to touch in all the corners and along the edges. The sensitivity is everywhere.I have a 4th generation iPad so not the one this keyboard case is sold for. The speakers are somewhat obstructed. But my sound is not so greatly distorted as to be a distraction while I'm listening to different things, YouTube, podcasts, music.Since it's new to me I haven't used all buttons. This is also my my first foray into the Apple ecosystem. MmI haven't learned everything about the keyboard's interaction and touchpad fingerings but I'm working on it.While this keyboard case is rather pricy, I'm still glad I bought it. It's easily my favorite, and I've tried a few that worked well.

Nice design but quirky functioning; will be returning it
By Mike The D. on Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2024
Have already contacted Logitech support for issues I’m having. 1) The space key needs a lot of pressure to work compared to the rest of the keyboard. Sometimes it simply quits working at all. I generally restart my iPadPro and this clears the problem, so I don’t know why the space key fails at times. 2) I have been able to access the iPad from the lock screen by swiping up on the track pad, without facial ID for the login. This is not a security issue yet since I only use the iPad and keyboard at home, but it baffles me why there is a major security flaw. 3) Logitech, why not add a light to the shift lock key? I get so tired of it being engaged without my realizing it until I’ve typed something. The rest of the keyboard is lit, so seems like one more little LED wouldn’t be a big issue. 4) I’m still trying to get used to the shallow key travel, but I guess this is state of the art today. 5) I am returning this keyboard and will buy another brand.Edit 7-8-24: I have had the spacebar failure issue seven times just this morning, so that’s more than one failure per hour of use. I had another email exchange with a Logitech support person, and they keep repeating the same workarounds and not taking responsibility for their defective design. . .”contact Apple support.” They should know darn well that Apple is not going to support a third-party device.I’m done forever with Logitech products.
