So I wanted to wait a month or so before I wrote this review so that I could really test out the product and give people my honest opinion because when I purchase something the reviews are the first thing that I got to. PROS: -The suction power is awesome and I have no problem with that, you're also able to adjust the suction power. There are three different settings on the app low, medium, and max. -I love that I am able to map out the house and know which area is which. -I love the fact that if I don't want the whole house vacuumed that I am able to pick a certain area such as just the living room to be vacuumed. -As far as PET HAIR it really picks up the pet hair I have a pit/beagle mix and he sheds like crazy and I would have to sweep literally everyday and now that I have this I don't. -I have a cowhide RUG and it goes over it just fine and gets all the dog hair and dirt out of it as well. Of course when I mop the house I shake out the rugs that I have and honestly I don't have a lot of dirt that comes out of them because of this vacuum. -The CARPET is very clean and it leaves those very satisfying vacuum lines that I love to see (if you know then you know) -On the CLEANING CYCLE it goes over the house more than once so that it makes sure it gets everything and it tries it's absolute best to get into the corners. -The APP for the vacuum is very user friendly and easy to figure out. -The APP tells you how much life your filter has left until it needs to be changed and it also throws out little reminders telling you to be sure that you're keeping it clean. -The vacuum comes with a little cleaning brush that helps clean the FILTER and it makes it a lot easier to get the dirt out of the filter. -I have HARDWOOD floor throughout the house and then I have CARPET in both of the bedrooms and it does great transitioning from HARDWOOD to CARPET CONS: -If you have the MAX suction on it obviously drains the battery faster because its using more power so it takes a little longer for it to clean than I would like it to. -If you have any phone chargers or wires or anything like that make sure you have them up off the floor or the space blocked off so that it doesn't get near them because it will get TANGLED in them. -Of course it doesn't get all the CORNERS but that is to be expected and I have a handheld vacuum for the corners of the house. -It takes a little but to MAP out the house and I live in a single wide 2 bed 2 bath trailer and it took about 2 hours or longer for it to map out the house so I wish that could be done in a shorter time period but again its a robot so I understand. -It will not tell you when the TRAY IS FULL. I thought that it would at least tell you when you needed to dump or clean the tray but it doesn't really. Just make sure that after every clean you dump it out even if you think your house isn't that dirty. -If it is on MAX power and it doesn't make it back to the charging station quick enough then it will die and you will have to pick it up and take it back to it's charging station. I don't mind this but if your not home while it's cleaning then you're gonna come home to a dead vacuum. Overall I am very pleased with this vacuum and I think that it's the best one that I have had. I have bought the IRobot and the ILIFE and this one by far is the best for PET HAIR and SUCTION power.

We bought a Shark Robo Vac for the first floor of our home. The SHARK robo vac performs great and we are delighted to come downstairs and find the floor already vacuumed. So happy with the machine we decided to acquire a less costly one for the upstairs since it doesn't have so much traffic as the downstairs. We choose this one and... oh boy, what a mistake. The yeedi robo vac couldn't map our upstairs floor outside of few rooms, missed at least three areas. Multiple attempts were done as recommended but either didn't find the areas missed but also started erasing those it had already mapped. Several times it ran out of batt before finishing the task, wiping out any mapping progress done, regardless the setting of continuos cleaning. Besides it got lost and couldn't return by itself to the base, also paused and stopped cleaning and when pressed CLEAN again, it wanted to go back to the base with no success. With much effort I finally found a way to contact the company to request tech support, but only got answers by email with videos that (oh surprise) were also defective with no sound. I reset the machine to factory settings in order to give it another clean chance, even registered it under different name, and to our surprise it started mapping correctly, including areas missed before but... long and behold, it paused again (with batt more than half full) failing to return to base and erasing any map that had been drafted already. Many hrs wasted on giving an honest chance to the product and company, but there is limit of patience for machines that do not work. Think twice on acquiring this product, definitely I should heed the advice of "You get what you paid for...", this time it was way less since any of this machines are all expensive, even the cheap ones like this.

Great for Your 1st Robo Vac, maybe even your 2nd

This is my first Robo Vac. I did a little online studying and decided to go with this one with the added suction station to keep the vac cleaned out. The reason is because it was able to Map my apartment, it cleans in back and forth lines (instead of random bouncing around) and has the station to unload anything it picks up. Since getting it I have used it a number of times everyday. Works great and leaves the carpet and hard wood floor really clean. It also runs softly. I worried that my two cats would freak out. One is overly skittish and we just moved into a new place. So she is on High Alert. LOL...but no, they are fine with it. Walking up to it and just watching it. They would run for their lives with the last vacuum. Overall, I'm very happy. It was a easy set-up and use. Does everything I need and more. I'm looking forward to trying out the mopping function soon. Great for people that want to begin using a Robot Vac without getting a cheap one they don't trust to work at a good price point. If I was to say one bad thing, it would be about the Firmware Updates. I would have liked it to auto update out of the box. It did take me a minute to learn how to do that.
Pretty good vac for managed expectations

I've had this little vacuum for about two weeks. Can't speak to the longevity yet, but between my initial product research and early experiences, I wanted to share my review. DON'T BUY THIS IF: you're expecting to replace your upright vacuum. If anything gets even a little ground into the carpet, this doesn't have the power to get it up. You'll still have to vacuum to get your carpets actually clean, especially in high traffic areas. DO BUY THIS IF: you need help keeping your floors managed. I have a black area rug and a shedding border collie. I run this vac daily and it does a good job grabbing the loose hair before it gets ground in. It's also great at getting places the upright can't reach like under the bed. For what it is, it picks up a surprising amount of hair/dust every time it runs. It's not perfect but my floor now looks like I have one dog instead of five. DON'T BUY THIS IF: you expect the app to work or there to be customer service to help you when it doesn't. You *have* to control the robot through the app. Connecting my phone to the robot went pretty smoothly, but it has to be over a 2.4GHz wifi connection. If for some odd reason your router only supports 5GHz, you're outta luck. Once you get it running it does allow you to click the auto clean button from the home page, but in order to get into any of the smart features, you need to click on the vacuum's picture. Unfortunately, mine needed a firmware update before I could access that menu, and it failed every time I tried for three days straight. I reached out to yeedi on their website - no response. There's no phone number either. I left the bot alone for two days, tried again, and the update luckily went through, but you're very much on your own with any troubleshooting. DO BUY THIS IF: you want an app with some bells and whistles for a decent price. Once you get it working (good luck), you can do stuff like schedule cleanings, tell it to only vacuum certain rooms or areas, and adjust the fan levels. It does make a little map that you can't edit, but can label. You'll want to turn on all the lights in the room while it's doing this, but mine is pretty accurate. While the vac is running, it'll show you its approximate location and the areas it's cleaned. It'll also send you push notifications when it finishes cleaning or on the rare occasion it gets stuck and needs you to come rescue it. The vacuum unit itself talks in the language you select and you can alter the volume. My dog is *not* a fan of this, but I appreciate the clear communication. DON'T BUY THIS IF: you want it to work on multiple levels of your house. It only saves one map. Why? Dunno, but you'd constantly be deleting and re-mapping if you wanted to run this bot both upstairs and downstairs. The mapping process involves a lot of gentle bumping as it feels its way around obstacles and it adds a good bit of time to the cleaning process. The vac is pretty efficient once it has its map built, but you're more likely to run into battery life problems if you're always deleting its bearings. DO BUY THIS IF: you have stairs. It does a great job detecting the drop and not yeeting itself down them. DON'T BUY THIS IF: you expect it to self empty. It is compatible with the yeedi emptying station, but that's an extra $200. You'll have to manually empty this one, which is super easy and not a big deal, but will need attention after each run cycle. DO BUY THIS IF: you want a vac with a decent carpet brush. There are two on the underside of this - the little edging broom that sticks out the front and a cylinder one in the middle. Both lock tightly in place but are very easy to get out and clean. They even give you a little tool for cutting any hair that gets tangled around the main brush. DON'T BUY THIS IF: you want to avoid maintenance costs. The brushes will need replaced, and if you do get the (sold-separately) emptying station, it takes specialty bags. DO BUY THIS IF: you have multiple floor types or area rugs in the cleaning zone. It automatically detects where the carpet switches to tile in my bathroom and adjusts its suction level to match. It also sometimes gets hung up on the edge of my big rug, but it will back up and take the approach at a diagonal before going over to where it originally wanted to be. I'm honestly surprised at how well it manages terrain changes and how little it gets itself stuck. DO BUY THIS IF: you plan on giving it a funny nickname in the app or putting googley eyes on it. Can confirm it's very adorable, although this unit navigates by gently running into things, so it's best to put any decorations on top instead of on the front to prevent them from getting damaged.
Does a good job and lots of good however

Setting aside some things I like it but there are a few things that make me consider returning it. I may return it because customer service has not been easy to reach. See the pictures where the darn thing doesn’t honor the areas I have flagged as “stay out”. The thing keeps going under the bed even though I flagged it not to. Once it even just stopped for no reason there. When I started told it to go back to the base it drove right under until it got stuck. I have redone the map three times trying to get it to go in one of my rooms through the main door. Instead it always tries to go through the bathroom. “Jack and Jill” bathroom. I tell it to clean one of the rooms and it will only go into the room through the vanity/bathroom area. So I have to make sure the door from that direction is open or it won’t go in even if the door from the main hall is open.
Finally a smart robot vacuum.

If you're on the fence about getting this vacuum I assure you it is WELL worth it. I have 3 Huskies and 3 cats so this house knows it's fair share of pet hair. This thing has been doing awesome. We've only had 2 runs with it but honestly I'm in love. Finally a robot vac that knows where it's been and doesn't just hit into furniture aimlessly. We had Roomba before this and while our dear George Loopy is still running he is showing his age. We decided to get this one after reading an online review for top robot vacuums in 2022. Things I love so far about the yeedi is that it doesn't miss whole areas on your floor. When we had Roomba for the most part it got everything but it had to be emptied and cleaned 2-3 times per run. The yeedi didn't need me to empty it once. Of course I do empty it once it's done and clean all the brushes. I also love how quiet this one is. My family will stop and go "did the vacuum get stuck somewhere?" Because they can't hear it when walking into a room. That's the other thing it hasn't really got stuck like the old Roomba did. I noticed it adjusts it's wheels if it's trying to get under or over something. Definitely get this vacuum. After just 2 uses I'd buy it again. My dogs also appreciate that it doesn't totally ram into them.
Lasted 18 months | May not replace with another Yeedi

I've had this robot vac since November, 2021. I bought it after reading reviews and comparing it with other options when the challenge is pet hairs. I have 2 dogs, 1 is a mix with a golden retriever, which sheds a lot of hair. This had done most of the work, specially with the dog hairs, but it always gave me some problems. The fact that hairs were not the biggest problem, made me keep it. Other vacs used to get all tangled up with the pet hair becoming non-efficient. This did its job and it made me feel it was "passable". It always had some issues... First, the sensors were not great and it kept bumping with everything. Second, I have small drops to a balcony and a garage, and the robot would fall every time, it did not sensor the drop. Third, the maps are not as easily crafted as the pictures show, plus, the robot did not respect the off-limit areas I designed. Suction is/was good. Lately it has been failing over and over again. It could not find the charging base over and over. Now it doesn't even move from 6 inches from the charging base. It seems like it definitively broke. I thought a tire was stuck because it kept going in circles in the same place. But with 18 months on its back, I'm thinking I should go ahead and replace it, but I'm not thinking of going Yeedi again. Support in the app is non-existent. The front wheel cannot be taken out, so the hair keeps tangled which makes it less spinnable. I'll definitively be looking for alternatives. Yeedi no more.

Update - I was contacted again by the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement that was the newest version of what I ordered. I am very pleasantly surprised that it is much better. It rarely gets stuck, cleans the upstairs in one charge and does a thorough job. Like I said it cleans the upstairs in one charge but has less than 16% battery life left when it's done. Overall I'm pleased with the replacement. I've had several robot vacuums and so far this is the worst. I set it up with no problem, let it charge overnight and had it clean the next day...cleaned for 1 hour and went back to recharge and never went back to finish cleaning. Next day it was off line so I reconnected it. Ran for 1/2 hour and then went back to recharge. That afternoon it was offline again. I ended up deleting the app and reinstalling the unit from the beginning...went on line fine and let it charge overnight. It's offline again. I'm going to give it one more try and then it's going back. When it worked it seemed to do a good job but at this point I would spend less time vacuuming the rooms myself than I am trying to get the robot to stay on line.

Overall, it's a great vacuum for the price. We have 2 big dogs that shed a lot and we were pleasantly surprised not to have hair stuck to our socks 24/7 after using it daily lol It has 3 different suction power levels, we pretty much always keep it on max. Although it isn't strong enough to pick up everything on our rugs so that's why I rated the suction 4 stars. Their Pro vacuum looks to have better suction and range but I haven't bought one yet to try. I rated the battery life 3 stars and here's why... it's not a huge deal, I'm not losing sleep over it but I live in a 2 bedroom home, nothing big or fancy and the vacuum only has enough battery to run through the main living areas, the spare bathroom, hallway and one bedroom. Typically it runs out of battery before it fully finishes that amount of space. It then takes 4 hours to charge before it can go out and finish the rest. When I finally move into a home slightly bigger, I know it'll be more of an annoyance since I just can't cover much ground space at once with it. Its super easy to set up with the app, takes a long time off the bat to map the whole house, especially with the battery dying part the way through but once it's set up, I love it! We're able to set virtual boundaries so it avoids certain areas. We're able to set specific rooms or custom areas for it to clean in, one negative to that though is that if the room doesn't have a definitive door, then it just blends into the next room. For example, I have a semi open concept from my living room into the dining room and kitchen, and so rather than splitting those rooms on the map, it sees it as one big room meaning you can't just quickly set it to clean the kitchen only, etc. Side note, after having it for a few months ours actually started having issues. Something was wrong with the mechanics I think. It sounded strange and was struggling to work correctly. The product came with a warranty so we contacted the company and they were great to work with, they sent us a replacement after we provided proof of the issue. 10/10 customer service.

Started off loving this vacuum. I also purchased the auto empty station and mop feature. I’ve now had this yeedi for 2 years. Here are my observations: -Battery life was an issue within a few weeks of receiving the vacuum. Contacted support and was essentially told “too bad.” -I have 2 dogs, one of which sheds a lot, it has done an excellent job daily keeping up the hair. They also bring a lot of dirt into the house and if used daily it does a great job keeping my floors from being gritty. The reservoir is filled every day and the auto-empty function is loud but worthy. -The mop function is wonderful. It’s my favorite thing about this vacuum. -After a year I started running into trouble with it thinking things are wrong that are not wrong. It often loses connection to my wifi and despite being reconnect and turned off/on won’t hold the connection. I come home from work to find it didn’t run that day at all. It now thinks the main brush is tangled when it is not. I’ve been able to solve this by putting in a new filter (previously I would rinse the filter, let it dry and be able to continue). That worked for a while. Now, even with a new filter and perfectly clean and clear brushes it things the main brush is tangled. It runs a few feet from the base and then stops. It has become completely unusable for vacuuming due to this issue. Support has been unhelpful. At this point it is a very expensive mop.
