Black with Backlit Keyboard
By Capt. S. on Reviewed in the United States on May 6, 2025
For $178 I was able to get a black keyboard, backlit keys with a touch pad for a brand new 11 inch iPad Air. The only keyboards offered at the Apple Store when I bought my new iPad Air were white and no backlit keys. What?! I did not like the new keyboard at all so I returned it and bought this one. I am very happy with it! It is used-like new (I guess refurbished). The first one I got had sticky keys. Did not perform well at all. I guess I got a lemon. So I’m returning it. I ordered a second one right away and it is perfect!!! So glad I didn’t give up on what I really wanted—Black with backlit keyboard. So glad I could still get one since they don’t make them anymore.

Works great but low functionality for the price
By Logan Woodhouse on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2025
So I just got a new iPad and was considering getting this but I was hesitant because of the $300 price tag in store. Since it was cheaper here I decided to try it out. In hindsight I should’ve done more research into all my options before deciding on this, but I will tell you the pros and cons that I got so far from this product. I have not had it long so I will keep it for a while and update on what I decide to do with it after some more use. Cons: - no functionality keys at the top to adjust sound or brightness, fast-forward/rewind, etc - no ability to adjust backlight on keyboard - no swivel or fully bending back so if you want to use your iPad as an iPad, you will have to purchase another case separately that you can use when you take your iPad off the keyboard stand. Pros: - It’s very sturdy and it can hold the iPads weight without falling back. This is the main thing that drew me to it as I hate using cases with a kickstand. It’s heavy, but not too heavy and I can use it and move it around on my bed even without it falling over. - keyboard connects well and has a charging port on the side which charges your iPad as well Overall, this is a good product and it does a really great job for what it’s intended to do. The reason I’m giving three stars is that for $300 I believe it should do a lot more. Some of the cons I stated are basic functions that you would expect any keyboard to have, and the fact that this one is so expensive while serving only the most basic functions is kind of crazy to me. If none of those cons bother you then this is an amazing keyboard case, but you should know that there are others on Amazon that do the same thing plus more for half or a third of the price so do your research before hand. I remember seeing frequently returned on this page and was curious as to why. I don’t think it’s an issue with the keyboard itself, but the lack of certain functions that is causing this to be returned so often. Right now I’m also considering returning this and buying one of those, but I will update later.
