Great oven

This countertop oven is wonderful. It's large enough to fit a frozen pizza in, but doesn't take up extra space on the counter. It's so versatile and easy that we use it for everything. We start with toast, which preheats the oven for frozen biscuits. It's amazing for reheating delivery pizza or air frying tater tots. The stainless steel is easy to clean and looks nice. The refurbished price was an incredible value!

Does not broil well and constantly shuts on and off while cooking.

Last update for this product. I am downgrading this item to a 1 star. It always had a problem with trying to shut down when cooking especially in air fry mode. Well a couple of days ago it completely shut down while cooking and effectively reset it self. There is a reason these thing are in big lots at greatly reduced prices. Just stay away from this product at any price. After using this oven for five months, I finally feel that I can write a decent review. Before I get started I must state that I purchased a refurbished model, so I can only assumed it was fully functional and the short coming are universal to this model. I can only give this oven 2 stars. The main problem is that the broiler function on this device is awful. When broiling anything, literally, a maillard reaction can not be achieved without the items being well done. This is very bad if you like your steaks medium well or less. I cannot truly say if this is completely normal for this device or if it is the result of my oven not working 100%. I have notice that the oven has 6 heating elements, but only four of them will show signs of heating up. The two center elements in the top of the oven never develop a glow when cooking, no matter how high the temperature you are cooking with is. Having said that, this oven does make perfect toast. The second problem, which is the one that drops this oven to 2 stars. On several occasions now, this oven clicks on and off when cooking. It just starts blinking on and off for sometimes a couple minutes before it stabilizes. When this happens over a long period of time the power cord becomes very hot, alarming so. I have had to shut down the oven when it does this, however I can only shut it down, when it blinks on long enough for me to do so. Or if I just unplug it, unplug a very hot plug. Also contributing to the low score is the difficulty in removing the drip pan when it is hot and in the lower position. The pan is so close to the door it is very hard to remove it with out struggling to get a strong secure grip without burning yourself. Because oven mitts are usually to bulky to used, so you need the oven pads to remove the pan. If there is one tip I can give when using this oven is, use aluminum foil. Use foil to cover the crumb pan, also to line the drip pan when cooking anything. It will save time when cleaning up. Besides making great toast, the oven bakes very well in my opinion until it starts to blink on and off, which will happen if you cook too long with this oven.
