LED Tactical Flashlights

I use it when walking, and I like the power switch being on the side where you hold it. However, the switch design is not ideal for walking. It cycles through four states (high, low, strobe and off.) For activities such as walking, the proper use of a flashlight is to turn it on and off intermittently, not keep it on all the time, to conserve the battery. But this flashlight doesn’t make it easy to do that. 'Off' being the last of the four states, you have to go through each one to turn it off each time. Okay, you can help waste the battery, reduce the life of the flashlight and send more of them to the landfill alright, but it is not rocket science nor does it cost lot more to design a long-press to turn it off directly from each state. Just a suggestion for a user-friendly and responsible design and a better environment at the same time! I hope the manufacturer is listening. Otherwise, this Eveready Rechargeable Flashlight (B092RKW6G7) is a bang for the buck: handy in size, solid to hold, gives you a slice of the daylight in the night!
