These installed in the exact same location as my old door knobs and locks. The batteries last really long. I have had these installed for over two years and have replaced the batteries once. I like the code function and how multiple codes can be programmed. I wish there was a separate lock function for the handle portion for more security. It does not impact the function of the overall package. The dead bolt lock works great. Do not hesitate to buy this product. I hate carrying keys around and this is a great bargain for the convenience. One unit came broken, but Amazon took care of me and replaced it immediately.

I bought this early this year, I have contractor team working for my remodel, and due to schedule delay, it passed one month from purchase date. Can't return. Contractor told me that this lock is defective. He followed instruction, etc. We contacted the seller, listed the issue for trouble shooting, it's been 4 days now, No response. The lock itself looks good, The number pad is the defective part. I can use the lock using key, but what's the point if you buy it for keyless door lock? NO service, Defective product. Don't recommend.
