The product itself is a nice headphone! The base sounds like a premium (in my opinion) base without bursting into your ear in a way that makes it uncomfortable or potentially ear damaging. The sound quality itself is also of a tremendous quality. I'm no expert in sound, but when I listen to music everything sounds really nice and vocals sound nicely blended into the rest of the song. I even use the headphones for practicing piano since you can use them with an (included) 3.5mm cable, and the piano sounds GORGEOUS coming into these headphones. They're also really ear to pair with any devices including additional devices when you're already paired to one. The battery seems to last forever on these things. I haven't tried too many phone calls so I can't attest to the quality of the microphone, but the one time that I did the person could hear/understand me so I assume it's good. Now, the reason that I, and I assume most other people, will buy these for is the noise cancellation which was by far the most (and pretty much only) disappointing feature of these headphones. When you turn on the noise cancellation, you definitely get a reduction of environmental noise. The noise cancellation works well to neutralize almost everything when you have something playing through the actual headphones at a medium to high volume. If the volume is too low, or you are just trying to have silent noise cancellation, then you may be disappointed. I could hear a faucet with running water when I used the noise cancellation feature which I thought was pretty bad. Using it on a recent plane ride I learned that I could still hear the noise of the plane ride AND I could even hear announcements made in the cabin if I didn't have music running through the headphones. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I was hope for actual cancellation and not just reduction. I also wouldn't be as upset if the product were advertised as being assisted by additional audio for true noise cancellation. Overall, these are truly great quality headphones, but I bought them for noise cancellation purposes and that turned out to be the worst feature. Still undecided on whether to return them or not.
