FURNINXS Ladder Shelf Bookcase

TL;DR below! I realize for a while I've been surrounded by clutter, scattered about my living area. I grew tired of it and figured I should just go ahead and pay for some vertical space where I can put my things, so they'd be easy to reach but still out of the way and off of the floor. (You know, little piles of junk in corners where they don't need to be). Anyways, I had previously purchased a bookshelf that looked exactly the same as this one. I wanted to buy another one, except the first one I purchased was around $90 or so dollars. I really just wanted to save a couple of bucks and since I wasn't expecting guests to come over and root around my belongings, I went ahead and bought it. Here are some ratings: Assembly: took me about an hour. That's probably longer than usual, could've taken me 30 minutes but I was distracted and also lazy. The guide is really poorly thrown together. They don't include anything like a mini screwdriver (but I guess you get what you pay for). They have an extremely deranged way of screwing the shelves in. They use a cam lock nut (???) which is not what you'd usually ever find. But I guess that's their prerogative. Anyways, that's what makes it take longer. The other baffling thing is the way in which you attach the top half of the bars to the bottom half. I attached a photo of they way they did it. It looks incredibly cheap and not at all as sleep as my other shelf (sorry to keep bringing that up...) Sturdiness: Yeah, I'd say it's sturdy. My only complaint is what I mentioned above. The top half is kinda just... bolted on the bottom half. It doesn't look great. TL;DR: Overall, meh. I'm not going to complain too much, it was cheaper than the better one that I have. and it's for junk. This shelf has a 95 dollar listing price which is laughable. The 87 that I paid, even now I'm shocked that I paid so much. It's alright for the price. However, if you really want better quality, and have a few bucks to spare, go with the CosyStar 5 shelf. It's 90 bucks but much more worth the price.
